TEAM WHISTLE NAMES JOE CAPOROSO PRESIDENT

In New Role, Caporoso to Lead Team Whistle’s Overall Strategy

NEW YORK –(February 2, 2022) –Team Whistle, the global sports and entertainment media company today announced Joe Caporoso as President. In his new role, he will help shape and lead the organization's overall strategy for its media and agency divisions. His expanded position comes on the heels of Whistle’s O&O hitting 7 billion views with branded renewals across originals increasing 100% from 2020 to 2021. Caporoso will be responsible for the company’s business strategy, performance, and partnerships. He will continue to report to Michael Cohen, CEO of Team Whistle.

Caporoso has over 14 years of digital experience, with nearly a decade at Team Whistle cementing their role as a trusted sports and entertainment media publisher that produces uplifting relatable content for a Gen Z and Millennial audience. Caporoso most recently served as the EVP of Media at Team Whistle where he led the creation of positive, relatable sports and entertainment content across YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook and the company’s linear network, Whistle TV. Its growing library of original titles include: ‘No Days Off’, ‘Days Off’, ‘My Hustle’, ‘Meet the Pets,’ ‘Cheat Day,’ ‘Dunk League,’ ‘Double Duty,’ ‘Reload My Room’ ‘I Could Do That’’ and more. Prior to that he served as VP of Content and Social Media. He started with the company in 2013 as a Cross Platform Editor. He began his career at United Way before moving to Patch/AOL and then to Team Whistle. He currently resides in Hoboken with his wife and two kids.
