TEAM WHISTLE PARTNERS WITH ‘NIL’ ATHLETES TO DEVELOP THEIR LIKENESS THROUGH ORIGINAL FORMATS LIKE SERIES ‘PUT YOU ON’ PREMIERING ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3

Starting with Collegiate Football Players and Projected First Round Picks, Kyle Hamilton from Notre Dame and Chris Olave from Ohio State, as well as Jaiden Fields, a Softball Player from University of Georgia and more

NEW YORK – (September 3, 2021) – Team Whistle, the global sports media and entertainment company today announced they will be partnering with ‘NIL’ athletes to develop their respective profiles through inclusion in their relatable formats that highlight personalities on and off the field. The partnership is starting by incorporating collegiate football player and projected first round pick, Kyle Hamilton from Notre Dame into new series ‘Put You On,” which premieres on Friday, September 3. Future episodes will include additional first round pick, Chris Olave from Ohio State, as well as Jaiden Fields, a female softball player from The University of Georgia. ‘Put You On’ follows athletes and entertainers to their hometown as they take us to their favorite local spots and activities. This partnership was born from the recent NCAA rule change that now allows college athletes to profit from their name, image and likeness.

“This recent rule change has allowed us (the athletes) more freedom to market ourselves in ways we haven’t been able to previously, “ said Kyle Hamilton, football player from Notre Dame.“We finally have the ability to connect with brands, companies, and businesses that we are interested in and vice versa. Hopefully, this is just the start of something great for all parties involved.”

Whistle’s first ‘Put You On’ episode follows projected first round pick, Kyle Hamilton from Notre Dame as he takes us through South Bend, Indiana revealing all of his personally frequented hot spots and favorite locations. Our second episode will feature another first round prospect, Chris Olave from Ohio State as we get a firsthand look at the must do and see happenings in Columbus, Ohio. Later episodes will feature Jaiden Fields, a softball player for University of Georgia as she takes us to experience the best Athens has to offer and more.

“At Whistle, we are thrilled by the opportunities afforded for collegiate athletes by ‘NIL.’ We’ve always been focused on empowering young athletes by giving them a platform to show fans who they are, and what they stand for off the field, so this brings more opportunity for collaboration ” said Josh Millan, Head of Talent Partnerships at Team Whistle. “Our goal is to represent student athletes as more than just their sport they play through programming and show formats that highlight athlete side hustles, their entrepreneurial spirit, and the activities they are passionate about.”
