TEAM WHISTLE LAUNCHES ITS WHISTLE CREATOR PROGRAM TO FOCUS ON TIKTOK AND OTHER SHORT FORM CONTENT, ENABLING THE NEXT GENERATION OF BEST IN CLASS CREATORS

Creator Program Includes Darnell Smith and Joy De’Angela, as well as NIL Athletes, Cameron Ward, from Washington State Football and Adam Botskin, from University of Montana Football

NEW YORK – (February 24, 2023) – Team Whistle, the global sports media and entertainment company, is launching its “Whistle Creator Program”, to expand on its short form content, enabling the next generation of best in class creators. Currently, 73% of consumers prefer to watch short form video, with it being the best format for younger generations engagement. Today’s short-form social landscape gives the modern sports fan never-before-seen access to the world’s largest sporting events, by partnering with a collective of creators to give their audiences a social-first look at tentpole events. Whistle’s inaugural class of “Whistle Creator Program” will see TikTok and other short form experts as they create rich, authentic sports adjacent content as the year progresses. The program will include creators like Darnell Smith, Joy De’Angela, Katie Krotee, Shayna Calandro, as well as NIL athletes, Cameron Ward, from Washington State Football and Adam Botkin, from University of Montana Football.
